About Our Northern Wisconsin Lavender Farm

Northwoods Lavender took root in Spring 2023 when we planted our first lavender plants into our patch of Antigo Silt Loam, Wisconsin's state soil. We grow both English (Angustifolia) and Lavendin (Intermedia) varieties and look forward to expanding our lavender field in the near future. How to Use Lavender

Lavender isn't just beautiful in the field, it's a versatile herb with a multitude of uses.

Renowned for its calming properties, lavender is known to promote relaxation and ease anxiety. Fragrant lavender oil can be diffused in the air, incorporated into massage blends, and enhance your everyday load of laundry. But lavender's benefits go beyond aromatherapy. Culinary-grade lavender buds can be used to create delicious cocktails, add a floral touch to baked goods, and infuse honey with a calming sweetness. The herb's natural insect-repelling properties also make it a valuable addition to homemade sachets and backyard campfires.
