Ingredients
For Hot Latte:
1–2 shots espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
6 ounces oat milk (or dairy milk)
2 ounces lavender simple syrup
For Iced Latte:
6 ounces cold brew coffee or chilled espresso
6 ounces chilled oat milk (or dairy milk)
Ice cubes
2 ounces lavender simple syrup
Directions
Prepare Espresso or Coffee:
Brew your desired amount of espresso or strong coffee. For iced coffee use cold brew coffee or chill hot espresso.
Assemble the Latte:
Hot Latte: Add your desired amount of lavender syrup (if using) to the oat milk (or dairy milk) before steaming. Steam the milk mixture to your desired consistency (microfoam for latte art, or simply heated for a creamy latte). Pour espresso or coffee into a mug. Slowly pour steamed lavender milk into the mug, holding back the foam with a spoon. Top with foam (optional).
Iced Latte: Fill a glass with ice. Pour cold brew coffee or chilled espresso on top. Add lavender syrup (if using) and top with chilled oat milk (or dairy milk).
Tips
Feel free to adjust the amount of lavender syrup to your taste preference.
You can also garnish your latte with a sprinkle of dried lavender flowers.
